Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains how Tacmen Solutions ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit tacmensolutions.com, request a free audit, book a call or otherwise contact us. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@tacmensolutions.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete our audit or contact forms we collect your name, work email, phone number (optional), company, website, industry, country, marketing budget or agency size, goals, timeline and anything you write in your message. When you book a call through Cal.com we receive your booking details. We also keep emails and messages you send us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we record how you arrived (for example campaign parameters in the link such as utm_source, and advertising click identifiers such as gclid or fbclid), the pages you visited before contacting us, your browser and device type, your approximate location (country, derived from your IP address) and your cookie choices. Some of this uses cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.

Security checks. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people and spam bots apart. It processes technical signals from your browser for that purpose only.

How we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry and prepare your free audit, proposal or call.
  • To provide and manage services if you become a client or agency partner.
  • To understand which pages, campaigns and channels bring in inquiries, so we can improve our website and marketing.
  • With your permission where required, to measure our advertising and show relevant ads.
  • To keep the site and our forms secure and to prevent spam and fraud.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

If you're in the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on our legitimate interests to respond to business inquiries, secure our site and understand how it's used in aggregate; on consent for analytics and advertising cookies and any marketing emails you opt in to; on contract when we deliver services; and on legal obligation for records we must keep.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Microsoft Clarity to measure visits and the performance of our campaigns. When you submit a form, we may share your email address and phone number with Google and Meta in a hashed (scrambled) form so they can match the inquiry to an ad interaction; they don't receive the readable details.

Visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland are asked for permission before analytics or advertising cookies are used. Everyone can change their choice at any time using Privacy choices at the bottom of every page. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of advertising.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, under contracts that limit how they may use it:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, security and spam protection.
  • Google — Google Workspace and Sheets (where inquiries are stored and managed), Analytics, Ads and Tag Manager.
  • Cal.com — call scheduling.
  • Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft — advertising measurement and analytics, as described above.
  • Team members and contractors who work on your inquiry or account.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business sale or reorganisation.

International transfers

Our team works remotely and our service providers operate in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that don't become clients: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Client and partner records: for the length of the relationship and 6 years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.
  • Analytics data: according to each tool's retention settings (14 months in Google Analytics).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy of it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@tacmensolutions.com and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

  • UK and EEA: you can also complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
  • California and other US states with privacy laws: you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. Use Privacy choices or a Global Privacy Control signal to opt out. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
  • Australia: you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you're not satisfied with our response.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses and aren't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable service providers to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can access it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
